    GOMS provides the ability to customise client goals and objectives. Once created, they are stored in the ‘Library’. To create or administer goals and objectives:

    • Navigate to GOMS > Goals + objectives library from the side navigation menu
    • Select ‘Add goal’
    • Enter a goal and description
    • Select an option from the ‘Classification’ drop-down list
    • Select ‘Objectives’
    • Select ‘Add objective’
    • Enter the objective, measure + instruction
    • Select ‘Select measure type’
    • Select either ‘Qualitative metric’ or ‘Quantitative metric’
    • Select ‘Confirm’
    • Select ‘Select outcome options’
    • Select either ‘Default outcomes’ or ‘Alternative outcomes’

    NB: Outcomes are created in GOMS > Settings > Session + outcome options.

    NB:  If goals are deleted for a client, then all session data entered previously will also be deleted.

    Import/export goals + objectives

    To import goals + objectives:

    • Select the ‘Import goals + objectives’ icon
    • In the pop-up, select the ‘Download import template’ icon
    • Enter details into the spreadsheet
    • Upload template by clicking to choose a file or drag-and-drop
    • Select ‘Upload’
    • The goals + objectives will be imported

    To export goals + objectives:

    • Select the ‘Export goals + objectives’ icon

    This will generate an excel spreadsheet with the followng columns:

    • Goal name
    • Goal description
    • Goal classification
    • Objective name
    • Objective instruction
    • Objective measurement type
    • Objective qualitative measurement text
    • Objective quantitative measurement operator
    • Objective quantitative measurement number
    • Objective quantitative measurement unit
    • Objective outcomes
    • Objective order
