    To apply GOMS settings:

    • Navigate to GOMS via the side navigation panel.
    • Select the drop-down arrow and then ‘Settings’

    Administer general settings

    To ensure efficient GOMS administration, key staff must be assigned to the administration team.

    To create the ‘Administrative team’ and assign staff to this team, refer to ‘Customise teams + locations‘.

    • Navigate to GOMS > Settings > General
    • Select the relevant team from the drop-down menu
    • Enter the ‘Number of goals’
    • Enter the ‘Number of objectives per goal’
    •   Select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’
    • Display clients based on staff/teams permissions
      • No permissions
      • ARM permissions
      • GOMS permissions
      • ARM + GOMS permissions
    • Select whether to show disability or health information in client panel.
    • Select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’
    • Display alerts?
    • Display parents/carers/guardians?
    • Display additional measures?
    • Display documents?
    • Select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’
    • Send email when session is completed or note is added?
    • Select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’
    • Select formSPACE form in session? If ‘Yes’ then the forms to select from will be displayed. Form templates need to be set to display in modules for this option to take effect.

    NB:  If ‘Yes’ is selected to send email when session is completed or note is added, an email will be sent to the client’s staff list and their ARM account manager every time a note is manually added or a session is completed.

    Administer goals + objectives

    • Navigate to GOMS > Settings > Goals + objectives
    • Select whether to set goal + objective due dates
    • Enter ‘Goal classification options’

    Administer session + outcome options

    • Navigate to GOMS > Settings > Session + outcome options
    • Select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’
      • Show ‘Achieved’ checkbox in session objectives?
      • Are goal comments required?
      • Is program required?
      • Is address required?
      • Display risk of harm + medical issue?

    Administer alternate + additional measures + outcomes

    • Select ‘Add outcome or measure’
    • Enter ‘Outcome or measure name’
    • Enter ‘Outcome Achievement rating (%)’
    • To delete an outcome or measure, select the ‘Delete’ icon

    NB:  Date will auto create.

    Administer emoji icons

    • Select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’
      • Display emoji icons?
    • If ‘Yes’, select an emoji icon for each engagement category
      • Positive
      • Neutral
      • Negative

    Administer program groups

    At GOMS commencement, programs set up in ARM are synced to the program list in GOMS.  These are the programs available for selection in GOMS.

    Create program group

    • Navigate to GOMS > Settings > Program groups
    • Select ‘Add’
    • Create a program group name + description
    • Select ‘Programs’
    • Select ‘Add’
    • Select program from drop-down menu
    • Additional programs can be added by selecting ‘Add’
    • Select ‘Save’ or ‘Save + close’

    Edit program group

    • Navigate to GOMS > Settings > Program groups
    • Edit program group name/description if desired
    • Select ‘Programs’
    • Select ‘Add’ to add program to group
    • Select ‘Delete’ to delete program from group
    • Select ‘Save’ or ‘Save + close’

    NB: To create, edit or archive a Program, refer to the ARM + ARM Pro myHelp.

    Administer notes

    Enable predefined categories when adding notes in GOMS from the Notes panel.

    • Navigate to GOMS > Settings > Administer notes
    • Enable predefined categories
    • Select ‘Add’
    • Enter note category name
    • Select ‘Save’ or ‘Save + close’

    Edit note category

    • Select ‘Add’
    • Update note category name
    • Select ‘Save’ or ‘Save + close’

    Archive note category

    • Select ‘Add’
    • Select ‘Archive’
    • Select ‘Save’ or ‘Save + close’

    Unarchive note category

    • Select ‘Archive’ or “Existing + archived” from status category drop down
    • Select ‘Unarchive’
    • Select ‘Save’ or ‘Save + close’
