    Upload document within ARM

    To upload a document:

    • Search for the relevant client or contact via the search bar and select the client
    • Select the ‘Documents’ button in the Client panel if the Documents panel is not already visible
    • Select the ‘Create document’ icon on the Documents panel
    • Select the ‘Category’ and ‘Type’ from the relevant drop-down menu
    • If the document needs to be linked to an opportunity, opportunity task, project or project task, you can create a link via the ‘Link to’ drop-down menu.  Once your selection is made, additional drop-down menus will appear to enable selection of the relevant project/opportunity and/or task

    NB:  Documents linked to a restricted project or project task will not be visible to staff without the relevant permissions for that project or project task.

    • Enter the document name
    • Enter the document description (optional)
    • Select the client/contact from the drop-down menu (optional)
    • Allocate team storage (if you are a member of more than one team and the myDocs Administrator has allocated team storage – refer to ‘Allocate team storage limits‘)
    • Select the staff or team from the drop-down menu to assign permissions and notifications. (The notifications will inform those staff members that changes have been made to document, and the permission checkboxes allow access to download or modify documents).
    • Drag a document or email attachment onto, or click on, the ‘Click to choose a file or drag it here’ button
    • Add notes if required
    • Select ‘Save’

    Upload document within myDocs

    Documents can also be created via the ‘Manage documents’ page (This method is used for quick document creation via a simplified document creation page). To upload a document via this method:

    • Navigate to ‘myDocs’
    • Select ‘Manage documents’
    • Select ‘Create document’
    • Enter the document name and select the relevant client
    • Drag a document or email attachment onto, or click on, the ‘Click to choose a file or drag it here’ button
    • Select ‘Save’

    NB: File size limit of 80MB applied for document upload .mp3 files can also be uploaded.
