New features are released on average, every two weeks to all MYP subscribers.
Communication schedule
New features releases are communicated to Subscribers on the day prior to the release and again on the day of the release. Details and screenshots are advertised:
- MYP – a pop-up appears when you log in to the system. This pop-up appears for subscribers with modules that have the new features.
- myCommunity – a fly-through video will be posted that outlines each feature in detail. myCommunity is available for all community Subscribers to join.
- myHelp – each release will have a section within the ‘New Features’ section. New features are listed in myHelp for a few months for historical reference.
Access new features in MYP
All advertised new features are available to subscribers with the relevant modules. Depending on your MYP set-up, additional permissions may need to be assigned when new features are released (e.g. new PocketWatch reports require staff permission updates).
Resolve display issues
New features may not appear correctly if your web browser is displaying a cached copy of MYP. To resolve this, the browser will need to be force-refreshed using the following commands:
- Windows computers
- Chrome: press Shift + F5
- Firefox + Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + F5
- Mac computers
- Safari: press Command(⌘) + Option + R
- Chrome: press Command(⌘) + Shift + R
