Opportunity templates provide the ability to efficiently allocate opportunities and tasks to clients via the template, rather than create them individually each time. To create a custom opportunity template:
- Select ‘Customisation’ from the side navigation
- Select ‘Opportunity templates’
- Select ‘Create opportunity template’
- Enter template + opportunity names + assign an opportunity owner + team from the drop-down menus
- Enter relevant opportunity source, opportunity stage, follow-up staff member + follow-up interval
To create opportunity tasks:
- Select ‘Create task’ beside ‘Administer tasks’
- Enter task name, assign to staff or client
- Enter periods from opportunity start date for task commencement, task reminder + task due interval
If required, enter notes to the opportunity and tasks. These notes will automatically be added to the opportunity and task history when created.
Tasks can be re-arranged by enabling the ‘Enable drag-and-drop task ordering’ setting and dragging the tasks in the desired order.
NB: Entering the reminder date in the opportunity task will add the task to the daily update email under ‘Opportunity Task’.
NB: Entering the opportunity follow-up date will add the opportunity to the daily update email under ‘Opportunity Follow-up’.
