    Assistants can be created within MYP to assist other staff. A person who is made an assistant to another user in MYP is able to access the same data and functions of the system as they person they are assisting.

    To create an assistant:

    • Repeat the steps above to create the assisting staff member
    • Select ‘Yes’ Does this person assist other staff in a formal capacity (i.e. Executive Assistant, Secretary etc)?   
    • Select the check boxes beside staff they are assisting + the Bcc check box if the adviser is to receive copies of email created by the assistant.
    • When a staff member is an assistant they have their own level of permission not the level assigned to the staff member they are assisting.

    NB: The Executive Manager hierarchy question is particularly relevant for Subscribers of the 94six HR module to indicate seniority of managers for viewing permissions.

    WARNING: Do not make a staff member an assistant unless you authorise them to have access to all data and areas of the system as the person they are assisting.
