    Create survey

    • Select ‘Create survey’  

    If an existing client:

    • Select the client from the drop-down menu
    • Click ‘Next’
    • Change name of survey (if required)

    NB: If a survey has been conducted previously for this client, Advisers may select the option to pre-populate the survey with the responses given to the set statements from the most recent survey.

    To add custom objectives to a new survey, place a tick in the box and select ‘Next’.

    If a new client:

    • Click ‘Create new client’ from drop-down menu
    • Select ‘Next’ + enter details as required
    • Select ‘Save’
    • Select the client from the drop-down menu
    • Confirm survey name + select ‘Next’

    Conduct survey

    Three options are provided for the adviser/client. Select the most appropriate method from the following:

    • Select ‘Administer surveys’  
    • Identify the relevant client + select ‘Conduct survey’

    Email link to client

    Note that an email address is required in ARM before it can be emailed, and the contact must be flagged as ‘Yes’ to ‘Accept marketing contact’.  If no email is in ARM, a pop-up window will display requiring an email address to be added:

    • Select ‘Email survey to client’
    • Select email reminder frequency from the drop-down menu
    • Select the appropriate email template
    • The standard email appears in the text box. To customise the email, edit as required.
    • Select ‘View email’ to view the email prior to sending. If changes are required, select ‘Cancel’ to return to the edit box
    • When the email is finalised and viewed, select ‘Email to self’, ‘Email to client’ or  ‘Email to self/contact’

    Resend survey

    If the client completes the survey and then elects to edit, the survey can be resent to the client.

    • Select ‘Administer surveys’ 
    • Identify the relevant client + select ‘Conduct’
    • Select ‘Email survey to client’  
    • Select email reminder frequency from the drop-down menu
    • Select the appropriate email template
    • The standard email appears in the text box. To customise the email, edit as required.
    • Select ‘View email’ to view the email prior to sending. If changes are required, select ‘Cancel’ to return to the edit box
    • When the email is finalised and viewed, select ‘Email to self’, ‘Email to client’ or  ‘Email to self/contact’

    The adviser who creates the survey will receive the following automated emails:

    • Notification when the survey is accessed by the client
    • Notification when the survey is completed by the client
    • Notification when the diagnostic is not completed by the client by the completion date
    • Notification of any updated information in ARM (e.g. contact details)

    NB: MYP has the capacity for advisers to create their own email templates. To access this functionality, the adviser will require a subscription to the eMarketing module.

    Conduct survey jointly with client

    • Select ‘Conduct survey with client’

    The client completes the survey online with you. (The benefit of this option is that it allows the adviser to discuss and challenge responses to ensure a realistic report.)

    Print survey to complete in hard copy

    • Select ‘Print hard copy survey’

    The client completes the survey in hard copy format. (e.g. where the client has no/limited access to the internet; responses to be uploaded later by the adviser.)

    NB: Hard copy is branded with adviser logo.

    Rename survey

    • Select ‘Administer surveys’   
    • Identify the relevant client + select ‘Conduct survey with client’
    • Select ‘Rename survey’ or the following icon
    • Edit survey name + select ‘Save

    Archive + delete survey

    • Select ‘Administer surveys’  
    • Identify the relevant client + select ‘Archive’
    • To delete an archived survey, select ‘Only archived surveys’ from the ‘Select administration status’ drop-down box + click ‘Search’
    • Identify the relevant client + select ‘Delete’
    • To unarchive a survey, select ‘Only archived surveys’ from the ‘Select administration status’ drop-down box + click ‘Search’
    • Identify the relevant client + select ‘Unarchive’
