Coming Soon – Apportioned Pricing

In response to consistent feedback from NDIS participants and their families regarding group-based support and pricing arrangements, the NDIS has made several significant changes to transition plans. The extension of the transition date has been extended by six months, allowing providers until December 31, 2023, to adopt the new pricing model.

Under the Apportioned pricing model, ratio-based line items will be removed. This model mandates that each participant involved in delivering a group-based service is charged a portion of the total product value per hour, which corresponds to the support actually received from the worker(s). Notably, ‘Non-face-to-face’ (NF2F) time and ‘Centre Capital Costs’ (CCC) are not included in the Apportioned pricing model, enabling them to be billed separately from ‘Face-to-face’ (F2F) supports, as applicable.

Moreover, items in price books can now be marked as ‘fraction price’ to adjust the price based on the ratio specified in a client’s schedule of support within GENIUS (Funding). When an item marked as a ‘fraction price’ is used in a schedule of support, the standard NDIS price for that item will automatically adapt based on the ratio chosen in the client’s schedule of support in GENIUS (Funding). It’s important to note that the item must be marked as a ‘fraction price’ before adding it to a schedule of support for the adjustment to take effect.

We are fully dedicated to ensuring a seamless transition for all users during this change. To facilitate this, we will release the latest updates to all MYP subscribers on October 18, 2023, and also update the myHelp articles related to “Group-Based Supports: Apportioned Pricing & Transitional Pricing.” Your smooth transition and understanding are our top priorities.

OCR incorrectly mapping archived clients in GENIUS issue is now fixed: With our latest changes, OCR will no longer attempt to auto-map Clients/Contacts that are either archived in GENIUS (Funding) or ARM (CRM) or both.

Fixed the issue with copying notes while copying claims in ‘Plan Managed Claim to NDIA’ tab: As part of this fix, the “Add note” button will now be temporarily disabled until the new/copied claim is saved successfully. Furthermore, new notes will be copied under the original owner and date/time, ensuring proper ownership and timestamp.

Improvement to Leave Balances Displayed: We have successfully resolved an issue that, in rare instances, led to the incorrect number of hours displayed within the ‘Leave hours requested in active application (Leave not yet taken)’ field while applying for leave.

Improved Display on Ticket Lodging page: We’ve resolved a UI issue that caused misalignment of icons during the ticket lodging process, making it challenging to select the appropriate icons.

Irregularity between date/time in notes and notes description is now resolved: We’ve made an enhancement to how date and time are presented in notes and note descriptions. Previously, due to daylight saving, the displayed times in notes and note descriptions could vary depending on your server location. With our latest update, the time in notes and note descriptions will consistently be shown in AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time), ensuring uniform representation regardless of your location.

Validation process for approving timesheets that include sleep disturbances: This validation ensures that timesheets cannot be approved if certain criteria are not met. Specifically, timesheets cannot be approved if the fields related to sleep disturbances are empty, or if either the start or end date falls outside the duration of the timesheet. This enhancement guarantees accurate and complete timesheet approval.

Auto-approval option for timesheets with sleep disturbances: When the new “All Sleep Disturbance Values are Valid” validation is selected, it will automatically approve timesheets that include sleep disturbances, provided that all the sleep disturbance values are valid (see above). In cases where the sleep disturbance values are incorrect, the timesheets will require manual approval instead.

Improved Display of Approved Leave on Roster: In our most recent update, we have improved the way approved leave are displayed on the roster. Now, approved leave is represented as a single block for each day on which the leave is taken. The displayed time provides information on whether the leave covers an entire day or a specific time frame. Additionally, the full name of the staff member is now displayed instead of simply initials.
