UPDATED myNotifications – Notifications no longer have to be overwhelming. With the new notification filter, you can more easily find the notifications that are important to you.

To better reflect the changes made to plans from the NDIA (rather than LanternPay), we have updated all notifications to demonstrate NDIA as the source of the changes. Examples of notification texts that have changed are:

  • New Plan received for (Client Name) from the NDIA
  • Client engagement for (Client Name) has its plan end date shortened from (Old Date) to (New Date) by NDIA to reflect changes in the NDIA portal.
  • Client engagement for (Client Name) has its plan end date extended from (Old Date) to (New Date) by NDIA to reflect changes in the NDIA portal.

NEW Better identify plans that have been extended (or shortened) from the NDIA – Find the information you need with ease via our additional “plan extended” or “plan shortened” engagement status filter. These new options can be accessed using the engagement status dropdown in the ‘MANAGE GENIUS CLIENTS’ panel.

NEW Create and manage multiple GOMS sessions simultaneously – Staff can now create more than one session for a participant at the same time, on the same day and/or on the same shift. To ensure no duplication, staff will be alerted if another session already exists for that day when creating a new session.

New settings involving email notifications in GOMS – Turn on or turn off ‘receiving of email notifications’ feature when alerts are resolved in GOMS with the help of a radio button. This option can be found in GOMS settings, and the radio button is set to yes by default.

New validations around staff members requesting open shifts – MYP understands the importance of efficiencies when matching support workers to open shifts. We ensure this via our new validations and error messages when your staff members are requesting open shifts. This includes no longer allowing staff members to apply for the same open shift more than once.

Included in PocketWatch settings is a new checkbox that when selected (off by default) will activate the following:

  • Staff without the required mandatory attributes of a shift will be prevented from requesting that shift.
  • Staff members who do not have a valid role or mandatory attributes for an open shift will be prompted with an error message that reads “Invalid role for staff member, Mandatory attribute missing”
