On a reasonably regular basis, the focus of the engineering team needs to be on the health of the broader platform and those modules most impacted by user demands.  The last 2-week development cycle has been largely committed to this work.  Consequently, the number of key new developments is limited, but will be back to normal in the next development cycle.

We trust this work will further enhance your experience.  


  • Allowance categories: Allowance limits will now be validated for all rosters. When a staff member posts an allowance amount that exceeds the pre-set amount for that period, they will not be able to save that amount. A notification alert will also be sent to the roster manager to notify them of this event. If the staff member wishes to still post an allowance amount it will have to be equal to or below the balance remaining.
  • Rosters: The week number has been added to the top of the calendar on the roster page based on the roster template used.

  • Claims + provider invoices with LanternPay: LanternPay users now have the ability to ‘send payment to’ alternative entities in both the plan managed claim to NDIA and provider invoice sections in GENIUS. With this feature we are providing the means to pay the following entities instead of the service provider:
    •  Client
    • Representative
    • Support coordinator of the client
    • Plan manager of the client.
