- Select ARM Pro > Administration > API Settings
- Expand ‘Third party software’
- Select ‘Add third party software’ by clicking the blue Plus icon
- Select ‘HICAPS (recommended)’
- Enter ‘Account name’ – this can be your organisation name or ‘HICAPS’
- Select ‘Confirm’
WARNING: Note that removing any third party software link will remove its associated organisation links and all associated mappings. The removal is permanent and cannot be reversed.
It is also important to note that if your HICAPS login credentials (email and password) ever change, you must update those details here in the API settings section to ensure the connection remains active.
Establish organisation link with HICAPS account
- Expand ‘Organisation links’
- Select ‘Add organisation link’ by clicking the blue Plus icon
- Select the relevant ‘Account name’ (the account you created in the previous step)
- Search for and select the relevant ‘Organisation’
- Click Confirm
This will prompt a window pop up for HICAPS login page. Please enter your HICAPS login credentials here and click Sign in.
Once complete, it will return to the API Settings page. Click Save and return Home.
Review HICAPS Settings
- Navigate to GENIUS > Settings
- Expand HICAPS section
- Click Yes on ‘Enable HICAPS for NDIS claim/provider payments’
- Select ‘Primary Email’ in Send HICAPS remittance to selected contact
- Click Yes on ‘Enable automatic sync for agency fees (including plan management)
- Onboard the appropriate participants to HICAPS using the Subscribe to HICAPS function.
If you are using an accounting software like Xero or MYOB that has been integrated, you can also click Yes on ‘Enable automatic sync for payments’. This will prompt drop down selections in the accounting package options.
Save + Close to enforce all changes.
